The Reunion District is located on the west side of downtown Dallas near the West End Historic District. The area is mainly dedicated to entertaiment and commercial purposes, but some housing options including apartments and lofts are available in surrounding areas. The area is known for landmarks such as the Reunion Tower and Reunion Arena. However, after the sports teams of the arena moved to new venues, it was closed. But, the American Airlines Arena is less than five miles from the district and hosts the Dallas Mavericks and Stars. And, all of the theaters, musuems, shops, and restaurants of downtown are within a few miles radius.
