L.O. Daniel is mainly a residential community located in the larger Oak Cliff neighborhood found west of downtown Dallas. Once the land of a wealthy businessman, it has been divided up over the years and many single family homes and some multi-unit complexes now comprise the housing in the area. Many of these homes date back to the early 1900's and include architecture of the bungalow, Tudor, and Prairie styles. Many city attractions are located nearby such as the Dallas Zoo, and downtown Dallas which is about five miles away.
